Academy of Country Music's Most Promising Male Artsist of 1971

In 1973, Tony was nominee for Male Vocalist of The Year by the Academy Of Country Music, along with Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, and Charley Rich. The Tony Booth Band won Band of the year 1970, 1971, and 1972 from the Academy of Country Music and ASCAP Award in 1974 for Carwash Blues.

Tony was a Nominee finalist for Song of the Year 2009 from Academy of Western Artists (Is This All There Is To A Honky Tonk). In 2009 Male Vocalist of the Year from the Will Rogers Academy of Western Artists.

In his career, Tony recorded 12 Albums for United Artist, Capitol, MGM, and Heart of Texas and is currently recording under Heart of Texas Records in Brady, Texas (www.hillbillyhits.com).

Tony's hobbies include, attending one or two Nascar events per year as well as watching them on T.V. , Cruising on his Harley Davidson, and watching the Miami Dolphins, as well as playing an occasional game of Golf.
